Quality Controls

Our Quality Controls can be used for either manual or automated systems:

  • MQC-CAT, for quality control testing of routine blood bank reagents used in manual CAT blood typing and antibody screening systems.

  • Hemo-QC, a simulated whole blood control intended for the daily quality control of routine blood bank reagents used in semi-automated and automated blood typing and antibody screening test systems.

  • C3 Control Cells, used to confirm the efficacy of Anti-Human Globulin containing anti-complement.

Potentiators

Potentiators are used to enhance or accelerate the sensitization phase in the hemagglutination assay. We offer two:

  • Polyethylene Glycol

  • HBS-PEG XG

Specialist Solutions

Our Specialist Solutions for the treatment, testing, suspension, and preservation of red cells can be used for the in-house manufacture of screening cells, rare panel cells, or any application that needs to treat, suspend and preserve red cells.

MedTEK a simulated patient plasma, was created with medical technology students and clinical student laboratories in mind. It is sold in high volume quantities to accommodate a large classroom and is suitable for use in test tubes and gel column technologies.

HBS Lectin Kit - New and available for shipment

Our new HBS Lectin Kit is designed for use in the serological investigation of the major forms of polyagglutinability. It is comprised of two lectin reagents, Arachis hypogea and Glycine soja.
